My fascination for electronic music - specially Drum’n’Bass and Tech House/Minimal - began in the early nineties. Because of that shity radiostations we have in Switzerland, i decided to mix my own tapes. so i bought 2 mkII and a mixer and started to mix. downbeat, funk, minimalhous, tech house or drum'n'bass, jazz and much more - i love it all. From that day on, I was able to regulate my own music. I wasn’t in need of those stupid radio stations popshit.

Under the name “Squash”, I play drum’n’bass – “Chris Mono” is reserved for deep house over techhouse up to techno music. After a hard beginning of my “career” ,

I received bookings into all the big underground clubs in switzerland and raves so as Hive-Club, Usine (Geneva), Rohstofflager, Streetparade 2007 & 2009, Bogen 13, Moods, Abart, Dachkantine, Rote Fabrik, KIFF (Aarau), Tonimolkerei, Q-Club, Nautilus (Luzern), Sedel (Luzern), La Fourmi (Luzern), Sommercasino (Basel), Nordstern (Basel), Wasserwerk (Bern), ISC (Bern), les amis (Bern) and diverse openair raves all over Switzerland. Out of Switzerland i was playing also at the Goldengate Club in Berlin, Macarena Club and different bars in Barcelona and some other small spots. I'm resident at the Hive-Club Zürich since the club startet.
